The charming atmosphere, characterized by quirky design elements, really made our stay feel special.
The lighting system was quite complicated, making it difficult to achieve the desired ambiance in the room.

The breakfast was savoury as expected with pastries and great coffee and yogurt.

We stayed at the hotel with our 17 mounths old son, the hotel were very suitable both for parents and son:) The hotel staff even brought toys to our hotel room which made a big difference compare to other hotels. Small things make a big difference! The room gave us a feeling of luxury and we had a nice time there. Very good juice and coffee at the breakfast.
Very technical supplies at the hotel room such as lightnings, curtains etc. It did not bother us, but can understand if other find it hard to understand. The hotel staff took their time to follow us to our room when we arrived and had a short introduction how to use door key etc, good service!and maybe timesaving for the staff as well ...

Charming atmosphere and helpful staff.
My experience was marred by the overly complicated lighting system, which left the room uncomfortably lit in the night. Despite requesting assistance from reception to fix the air conditioning, it remained far too cold was great. It was also frustrating that the breakfast offerings were rather limited, lacking variety and quality .

Everthing about this hotel was fabulous the staff were brilliant the room fabulous and the town of Girona blew us away. We only stayed here because we were going to El Celler can Roca (the restaurant) which was left of field brillant absolut gourmet - rated 2nd in the world. The Hotel was right near the Medieval wall and was absolutely perfect in every way.
Not a think perfect good value too

The staff are both friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in an old building which has been nicely restored and converted into a "boutique" style hotel - the rooms are clean, stylish and quiet. The location is excellent for people intending to explore the old parts of Girona on foot. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and at the time of writing I would highly recommend the nearby "El Cau del llop" (The Wolf's Lair) bar/restaurant on Sacismort Street for the quality of food and local feel.
These are all very minor complaints - Not all the rooms have a bath in the en-suite bathroom, also some guests may not like the opaque glass partition between the en-suite and the rest of the room. A few more shelves to put clothes on etc. would be useful and a comfy armchair to sit in would be nice. Finally, the controls for the lighting and air-conditioning are a bit complicated and slightly annoying - this is from someone who likes high-tech stuff!

Request a top-floor room for added privacy and quietness. The central location offers immediate access to historical sites.

the room was very good and the very clean. staff were friendly, and it was a very good location in the old city.
Asked about breakfast on when arrived and was told there was hot and cold breakfasts so ordered for both days. When went down for breakfast was disappoined to find out it was only continetal breakfast. tried to cancel breakfast for second day, was told couldnt cancel has it had been charged, found ouy on checking out that it hadnt been charged and had to pay for it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good to have coffee available all day. Liked the "techy" aspects of the room (but see below) Enjoyed having a free upgrade. Lovely to have bathrobes and sherry on arrival.
The "techy" aspects weren't always practical - lights not always appropriate for usage eg reading and no plug for style of washbasin. Would have liked more space round washbasin area for putting wash stuff and make-up. Needs some shelving/drawers for clothes.

The rooms weresuper clean and cozy, improved with helpful reception staff. The breakfast selection was limited, and navigating the city's various attractions proved a bit repetitive after a couple of days. Some local interactions with residents felt less than cute, which impacted the overall feel during the visit.

The hotel room was small, it was over priced compared to other local hotels that we ended up moving to, and they told us if we had not used Booked.net they would have given us a better rate. The bathroom was in glass in the middle of the room offering no privacy

I liked the location of the hotel and the friendly and helpful hotel staff.
I did not like th glass box bathroom, it does not provide privacy and was very annoying in the night when you get up to the toilet and the light lights the whole room. Also my boyfriend found the bed uncomfortable.

Very central location and the welcome drink upon arrival.
There was no privacy in the bedroom or the bathroom because the windows have clear glass panes and so curtains/blinds have to stay closed because the street is very narrow and you are overlooked. This was very annoying as we had to switch on the lights even in the daytime. Window panes should be changed to opaque glass for some privacy. Jacuzzi remote controller needed new battery however during our 3 nights no replacement was forthcoming.Staff told us they do not have a spare one. No hotel receptionist available after 22.30.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location nearby all the attractions and good places to eat. There is free parking across the bridge only a short walk away.
It doesn´t overlook the river
